With over 30 years of experience, Jay is well known in the valley as one of the best bicycle mechanics around. Jay knows all things bicycle related and has raced everything on 2 wheels. From mountain bikes to road bikes, nothing has escaped him including: 24-hour solo mountain biking, 12-hour solo mountain biking, on day mountain biking, team 24 hour, single speed races, road races, road stage races, road criteriums, cyclocross, multiple charity events and even Olympic and half ironman triathlons! If it has wheels, Jay will race it!

Tisha Suarez – Owner
Wife to Jason, Mom, handles the bookkeeping for Jride Bikes while working full-time at Verde Power Sales. She enjoys riding her road bike to have coffee with her husband and friends. She created the 501c3, The Winded Foundation for asthma, exercise the right to breathe, via Team Winded. She was the director of their junior cycling team and traveled with a group of top athletes in the Southwest region. The foundation ran for 10 years, and they recently closed that chapter.

Doug (Dougie) Butcher
Age is just a number, right? Even at such a young age, Dougie has already accomplished so much. Including being a World Cup UCI downhill mechanic for an up-and-coming pro racer. This requires him to make sure the bike is in pristine condition so the racer can perform his best. In addition to this, Dougie has been training his mechanic skills under Jay’s tutelage, teaching him to be very meticulous about his work. Making sure your bike runs great is his top priority! Not only is he an excellent mechanic, but Dougie also competes. He has competed in all forms of events and has won titles including: 6 time national age group 20”BMX, 9 time national age group 24” BMX, 2 time Redline Cup west champion BMX, 8 time AZ State champion 20” BMX, 7 time AZ state champion 24” BMX, Bike Race of champion winner 20”. He is also a top 20 in the US pro and a factory ride for GT Bikes.
